Balkhi is a region of northern Afghanistan famous for its hashish.
This strain from there is a heavily resinous and multi branched landrace strain with intense aromas ranging from citrus and lime to pine, sandalwood, and burnt rubber. Northern Afghan landraces cannot be easily categorised according to Western preconceptions about Indica- or Sativa-type strains, thus making it a hybrid of sorts.
As with all resin landraces, expect to find chemotypes ranging from THC- to CBD-dominant, as well as other cannabinoids such as THCV. Highly recommended for breeders and essential for collectors.
